Wendelin von Gravenreuth is responsible for building up and managing a large scale global forest portfolio at MEAG on behalf of Munich Re Group and other Group external clients. Further, he is dealing with all ESG & sustainability and carbon related issues linked to the asset class forestry.
He joined MEAG in 2014 and holds a MSc. in Forest Science from the Technical University of Munich. Prior to that, he worked for the Confederation of European Forest Owners (CEPF) in Brussels, Belgium, as well as the European Forest Institute (EFI) in Joensuu, Finland.
MEAG is the asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO and has currently around € 340 billion assets under management.
