Ian Cameron leads operations for Treeswift, a next-generation forest monitoring company. Treeswift uses drones and machine learning to efficiently collect and produce rich under-canopy data for forest managers.
Prior to Treeswift, Ian led operations and go-to-market strategy for a Silicon Valley-based financial technology and real estate startup. Ian started his career as a United States Marine Infantry Officer and led Marines in operational deployments to the South Pacific and Afghanistan.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford where he studied as a Marshall Scholar.
