Felix Jenninger was born in Munich in 1994. From 2014 – 2019 he studied forestry and agriculture at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen.
Felix now works at Salm-Salm & Partner GmbH, a company founded by Prinz Michael zu SalmSalm. Salm-Salm & Partner is a renowned investment and asset management firm based in Wallhausen (Germany), which is specialized in timber and agricultural investments in Europe and the USA. The company manages over 11.000 hectares of timberland and agriculture in Germany and 75.000 acres of timberland in the US. Felix first worked as a student trainee for the company. After achieving his master´s degree in September 2019 Felix then started with a full time employment at Salm-Salm & Partner. Felix now works as an investment manager. His scope of work includes market and property analysis as well as client relations.
Forestry and agriculture have always been Felix´s passions. Along with his studies, Felix gained considerable experience in the national and international sector. Inter alia he did various internships at private and federal forest administrationsin Germany, as well as at one of the largest
US American forest consultants – F&W forestry services Inc.. Holding a master’s degree in agricultural economics, Felix also focused on gaining practical knowledge in this field. He worked on various farms in his semester breaks and also did an internship as herd manager in Namibia.
Along with developing his career, Felix likes to engage in social projects. He formerly assisted in camps for disabled people organized by the Order of St John. Felix is an active member of the Rotaract Club Mainz and also chaired different university committees at his alma mater. In his leisure time, Felix enjoys being outdoors to go skiing, hiking, shooting clays or hunting.
