    IKEA Industry Wielbark
    Host: Hendrikus Oddendal

IKEA Industry Wielbark is one of the largest sawmills in Poland, with 100% of wood being delivered from the forests of the north-eastern part of the country. The facility also includes a glued-laminated board, a furniture factory and a pellet plant in the same location. IKEA Industry Wielbark produces over 2.5 million furniture and 35,000 tons of pellets per year. The facility employs over 1800 people. In 2016 the plant successfully completed the NEPcon certification procedure and became the responsible biomass producer. The factory produces furniture and wooden elements, including popular HEMNES and HURDAL series, which are exported to IKEA stores around the world. The IKEA beds, chests of drawers and wardrobes, designed in Scandinavian traditional style, decorate interiors of houses in over 80 countries.
