Hargreaves Professor, Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources – University of Georgia

Richard Bin Mei is Hargreaves Professor of Forest Finance at the University of Georgia. He has co-authored 60 journal papers on timberland investments, forest-based climate solutions, and decision-making under uncertainty. He is the founder of Floria Consulting LLC, providing forest investment advice and climate-related solutions since 2010. He is on the editorial board of two leading forestry journals: Canadian Journal of Forest Research and Journal of Forest Business Research. Richard received his PhD from the University of Georgia, MS from Mississippi State University, and MS and BS from Beijing Forestry University.
